“Painting to Preserve” Member Show – Paint Out March 24th & 27th
You’re invited to join co-chairs Ellen Bibb and Dale Finley as they hold the first paint out in support of The Chestnut Group’s Painting to Preserve members show. The paint out will take place on the campus of Montgomery Bell Academy, our host for the show. Both Wednesday and Saturday sessions begin at 9:00 AM. You’re welcome to come when you can, stay as long as you wish and paint wherever you find inspiration! (We’ll have special 20th anniversary member pins available for the first five Nuts to arrive!)
Not necessary to check in upon entering the campus. School officials authorized our presence on the grounds. Security is aware of our activity both days.
Please be mindful of MBA’s COVID on campus provisions which require masks and appropriate social distancing.
In the event of inclement weather, those who suffer for their art have the option to paint from various sheltered spaces such as the parking garage or covered porches.
The 20th Anniversary Members Show provides broad opportunity to paint your favorite spots throughout middle Tennessee. You are encouraged to paint any and/or all past, current and future Chestnut partners properties. You are NOT restricted to painting just MBA. Parking (Campus Map Attached Below)
Wednesday, March 24th
Ample parking is available in the parking garage best accessed off Wilson Avenue. Visitor spots are available on the first and second floors of the garage. Additional parking is available in the “Massey” parking lot which can be accessed via Montgomery Bell Avenue.
Saturday, March 27th
School will not be in session on Saturday so you are free to park in any available slots.
