Land Trust Official Launch
Hello, Chestnuts,
We are launching our painting of the Land Trust Public and Private Properties in preparation for our 2020 Fundraiser centered around their Blue Moon event on October 24th. We will have the details for you at our January Member Meeting. Karen Philpott will be the sign-up liaison for the paint outs. Karen’s email is karenphilpott@me.com. Note that we will need to give Glen Leven a 48-hour heads up to be able to paint on the private Glen Leven Property. Look for announcements on the website as weather permits us to begin our paint outs. They have given us a generous window of Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 10 am to 4 pm!
To be able to paint on all the private properties, here are the instructions:
Private property paint outs will be designated as the dates are selected during the year. These will be organized Chestnut events coordinated with the staff at the Land Trust. We will post these dates and locations as they are given to us throughout the coming year. Karen Philpott will be the point person for these events.

Also linked are Glen Leven Farm Rules (linked here) and the Release and Waiver of Liability (linked here). Both of these documents are important for you to read thoroughly, understand, and the Waiver needs to be signed and brought with you when you paint at Glen Leven and all other private properties in case it is needed by the owners. Pack this document in your gear as it is a must-have to paint these properties.
Glen Leven is a treasured local historic property and we respect it by complying with the rules and regulations.
