Centennial Park Paint Out Schedule
Looking forward to painting with you for the upcoming partner show with The Conservancy for the Parthenon and Centennial Park, “Own a PART of the Park, “ coming up May 22, and open to the public, May 23 to 27, 2019.
Here is the Paint Out Schedule:
- Sunday, April 7, 9 am -12 noon Athena, interior room painting (private access for Chestnuts – RSVP to Renee at reneebatesartist@gmail.com); (Renee, Judson) , and simultaneously underway, an All-Park Paint Out, 9 am -3 pm, (Renee, Judson)
- Saturday Evening, April 13, 8:00 pm – 10:00 pm for Nashville Lantern Festival. Paid event so we will meet outside of event space on the 25th Avenue/downtown/east side of Lake Watauga on the walking path, north of the obelisk (Renee)
- Monday, April 22, 10 am – 3 pm Earth Day Paint Out (Renee)
- Friday, April 26, 10 am – 3 pm Arbor Day Paint Out (Judson, Renee)
- Wednesday, May 1, 10 am – 3 pm Midweek Paint Out (Judson)
- Saturday, May 11, 11 am – 6 pm Musician’s Corner Paint Out (Renee, Judson) We are exploring setting up a booth to advertise the show, in conjunction with painting. There will be music and a crowd that day at the southwest corner of the park.
Unless otherwise noted, we will meet in front of the main entrance to the Parthenon and be there for the first 20 minutes. We will disburse from there. Feel free to call us if you arrive later, and want to paint others.
