An Opportunity to Paint a Bit of History with Murfreesboro Arts League

The Murfreesboro Art League is hosting a plein air event at Cannonsburgh Village this fall. The Village is a wonderful collection of historic structures set on Lytle Creek, one of the Cumberland’s tributaries. The mill on the creek would be a great subject for the CRC show. There will be people in historic costume if you are interested in getting some figures into your paintings, as well as food and music.
You are welcome to come paint, or sign up for the competition — for which I will be the juror. You’ll find details in the attached pdf by clicking here https://chestnutgroup.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/MAL-Paint-Out-Prospectus-712-Final-1-1.pdf .
Hope you can come!
