Weekly Classes in March at Warehouse 521
Local Artists Erin Martin and Marjorie Hicks will be teaching classes at Warehouse 521 in March!
2 Tuesdays with Erin Martin: March 7th and 21st: 9:30 am-12:30 pm. Sign up for one or both! $55
Directed Study with Erin Martin: This class is designed to advise each member personally on their journey. It is an oasis to shake out your creative self, find your flow, and gain some skills. This Directed Study is for artists honing pieces in progress, artists who want to work out some kinks in their process, and artists who have trouble calling themselves “artists.” If you come in with work underway, I’ll come alongside you to see you to your goal. If you come in needing a jumpstart, pack your sketchbook. I’ll help you chart a course toward what lights you up!

Marjorie Hicks’ “SOJOURNERS”
The definition of sojourn: a temporary stay.
I like to think that where I am in my personal journey as an artist today is a temporary situation. It means that I’m not finished. I’ve the rest of my life to continue to grow, learn, and discover.
Since the summer of 2020, I’ve been teaching and mentoring fully online. It’s been wonderful in many surprising ways. I’m not anxious to stop online teaching, yet I’m yearning to get back out on a regular basis with artists again. We’ll meet in the relaxed and welcoming setting that Warehouse521 always offers. I’ll take a look at your work and lend my honest thoughts, ideas, and suggestions, or maybe you simply need help getting started on a project. I’ll try my best to help you.
You’ll receive much of the attention my private students receive, exept to share it with a small gathering of devoted artists. I’ll bring my gear with me to demonstrate from time to time. We may even pull in a model every so often. All mediums are welcomed. Our goal will be to connect as artists, and continue the creative journey that we are all on together. Finding what we, as unique indidviduals, have to offer the world through our very own creations.
