Redbuds are Blooming at Radnor Lake!
Spring is unfolding in a beautiful way at Radnor Lake! And while it’s important to stay focused on the upcoming Hermitage show, try to carve out some painting time to capture the greening and blossoming that’s underway at Radnor Lake. Our November show will be here before you know it. Don’t miss this opportunity to capture early spring at Radnor Lake before it slips away!
From Radnor Lake’s “Wildlife Happenings,” here’s what’s coming up in April:
“Spring wildflowers peak the first few weeks of the month. Wildflowers such as dwarf larkspur cover hillside areas along the lake trail. Reptiles and amphibians are abundant along the trails and waterways of the natural area as spring and lake temperatures increase gradually over the month. The last of the migrating waterfowl depart north for the summer. Resident waterfowl such as Canada geese and wood ducks are nesting this month.”
