Radnor Lake News: Updated Fact Sheet and New Paint Out Schedule!
Chestnut members, please carefully review the newly updated Radnor Lake Fact Sheet and Paint Out Schedule (both revised 8/1/15) which are now posted on the website Resources page. There is new information related to the November event’s marketing theme, painting options, and upcoming paint outs. The updated information on the Fact Sheet is highlighted in yellow.
Please note that there is a new option on the Fact Sheet related to numbers of paintings and sizes that may be submitted for the show. Where the original guidelines (now Option 1) allow for 1 large painting and a total of 5 paintings, the new option (Option 2) allows for 2 large paintings and a total of 4 paintings that may be submitted.
Due to the generosity of a Friends of Radnor Lake donor, we have recently learned that we will have a mid-sized tent that will be erected over a part of the patio area of the Visitor Center that will help accommodate large paintings. Additionally, the newly renovated Visitor Center will provide more exhibit area than in past shows. So this new option of 2 large paintings may be of interest to you if you are comfortable and experienced in painting sizes larger than 16×20.
