Promotional images for Radnor Lake show

RADNOR IMAGES FOR MARKETING NEEDED BY AUGUST 15

Deadline for Radnor painting images to be submitted and considered for invitations and other promotional print material is August 15. Images will continue to be added to the Radnor Dropbox through the end of October for digital and social media marketing.

Radnor Dropbox:  How to submit your painting images

While it’s not mandatory for you to do so, we encourage you — preferably as you complete your Radnor paintings — to submit image files for inclusion into the Radnor Dropbox.  The graphic designer for Friends of Radnor Lake (FORL) will be selecting images to use for marketing and promotional materials, and the folks at FORL will be posting images (both paintings and Chestnut artists painting at Radnor) on their website from now through the end of the show in November.

• Submitted painting images must not include matting or framing. Please crop images to include the artwork only
• Painting image should be right-side-up
• Painting image is 1920 pixels (at least 800 pixels on the longest side) at 72 dpi on the longest side. Images should be in .JPG or .JPEG format, sRGB color space
• In order to ensure proper credit is given, painting image naming convention is:
  • Title, Size, Medium, Substrate, Artist Name.jpg
    • Sample 1: Hermitage Barn, 11×14, Oil, Canvas Board, Artist name.jpg
    • Sample 2: Step into History, 11×14, Oil, Canvas Board, Artist name.jpg

    Photos of Artists Painting 

• Images of painters painting at Radnor Lake should be of yourself
• If you are submitting an image of another artist “in action”, you must have that artist’s permission to share. (Sometimes folks don’t want their image shared across social media, and we need to be respectful of their wishes)
• Images should be right-side up

Submitting Your Images

Please email your image(s) to one of the following folks, so we can upload them to our Radnor Dropbox folder:
