Paint, Paddle & Play 2024 Dates Coming Tuesday!
Hello Chestnut ladies!
Paint, Paddle & Play 2023 was amazing beyond words. Jaw-dropping sunrises and sunsets, group painting, paddling, yoga and beach fun, and yes, incredible interactions with dolphins. While it was nearly impossible to summarize this amazing experience in a short video, check out this highlight reel here. (Look for the little volume icon in the top right corner of your screen to turn the volume on.) Check out all the photos in our Paint, Paddle & Play Facebook group!
Everything we expected to be wonderful definitely was. The biggest surprise, however, was the powerful sisterhood we created and how sacred that felt by the end of the week. For this reason, this treasure-packed retreat is now open to all women, not just artists, because we all need adventure, restoration and meaningful friendships. Creativity through art-making will continue to be an important way we connect to ourselves and each other on our retreat.
For Chestnut ladies, Paint, Paddle & Play remains the ideal beach getaway. We created a dedicated, easel-filled, protected-surfaces-and-floor group studio space to drop into creativity as much as we wanted to. We were able to leave our individual stations set-up the whole week. Unlike some art retreats, your time is unstructured and the pace is relaxed. Some ladies painted more than others. A few times, we all created together. Everyone was free to do as they pleased, given the variety of options available. But we missed YOU!
SAVED YOU A SPOT
Many of the ladies said they would return next year, so I collected their feedback and offered them a two-week advance private registration period, once I confirmed 2024 dates.
Four of the six women have already booked their 2024 reservation!
I also had started a wait list and the short story is … we’re nearly sold out for 2024 already! But not to worry! I’ve secured a SECOND week at this incredible destination home on the beautiful and private St. George Island, FL. Yes, we still have room for YOU!
The painting featured above was created plein air during the retreat by Nashville artist and fellow Chestnut, Suzanne LeBeau. It is so special, I traded her for one of my paintings, because it takes me right back to that group huddle on the beach. Suzanne purposely left one seat empty so I could use it for Paint, Paddle & Play. She appropriately named it, “Saved You a Spot.” And we have!
All the trip details are recapped on the Paint, Paddle & Play website page. The dates will be emailed and registration will officially open THIS Tuesday, October 24.
