Inaugural Plein Air Competition
Special Invitation for Chestnut Group Members!
The Overton County Arts Council is hosting its inaugural Paint Livingston Plein Air Competition on October 3-5, 2024, in Livingston, TN, and has extended a special invitation to Chestnut Group members.
“We’re really excited to be inviting members of the Chestnut Group to participate in our upcoming Paint Livingston event,” said Overton County Arts Council president Tim Richardson. “We’re planning a fun 3-day celebration of plein air painting with $3450 in prize money to give away for this first annual event. And we’re happy to be inviting neighboring Middle Tennessee artists from The Chestnut Group to join us. We’re also very excited and fortunate to have Connie Erickson, who was the first president of The Chestnut Group, serving as our juror for the art show. We hope to see the faces and paint boxes of many Chestnut Group members in October!”
