Opportunity to Sell a Painting and Greenways Update

Jennifer Carlat, Special Projects Director for Metro Nashville/Davidson County Planning Department is looking for a painting of the Pedestrian Bridge Downtown, the Nashville Skyline, and other like subject matter. She is going to give this painting to Rick Bernhardt, the Executive Director of the Metro Nashville/Davidson County Planning Department who is retiring. She received the postcard we used to market the Cumberland River Compact fundraiser and identified three paintings on that postcard, but all three had been sold. So this offer to the Chestnut members will not be the usual 45/45/10 split for sales, but a sale for the chosen artist who will receive all the sale proceeds.
To submit your painting please send an image to Jennifer Carlat, <Jennifer.Carlat@nashville.gov> The painting will be given to Rick Bernhardt Wednesday, July 8. So that the images sent will not become unmanageable for her the timeframe to get the image to her is from today, Thursday, June 25 to Tuesday, June 30. You will be notified if your painting is chosen.

Hello Chestnuts, we still have availability for the opportunity to paint for the Greenways for Nashville event to happen October 1st. We have 9 people signed up as of June 24th. Images will be submitted to the Greenways organization within the week.
