PAM PADGETT-MONDAY PAINT CLUB
JANUARY 9, 16, 23, 30 – $425
4 sessions 9:30am til 3pm
Join me as we explore new methods to push your painting to the next level. We will start with a demo and have some morning exercises to loosen up!!
Bring your iPad or print out images that you have been wanting to paint and we will cover composition, values and color harmony.
KAREN PHILPOTT-COMPOSITION OF THE LANDSCAPE

2 day Workshop, Friday from 9:00-4:00
I hope you can join Karen for this two day intensive studio workshop. Her focus will be teaching one of the most important foundations of any landscape painting…composition. Students will work from sketches to finished pieces while learning to create strong overall unified design, along with aerial and linear perspective. Encouraged to bring 2 completed paintings for evaluation and critique. (Level Intermediate…must have knowledge of painting with oils)

JAMES RICHARDS AISM Studio & Plein Air
JUNE 2-4-2023 – $550
Day 1 will be spent with James sharing his concepts, ideas and techniques for creating loose, impressionistic paintings. This is mainly a teaching and demonstration day, with some student painting as well. Concepts covered will include planning and organizing your painting to allow for looseness and spontaneity. You will also discuss how to turn the chaotic visual elements of reality into a visual language on canvas. In addition, you’ll also be working on creating color harmony while using a limited palette.
Days 2 and 3 will be a combination of studio/En Plein Air (weather permitting) demonstrations by James and student painting. You’ll have the opportunity to apply and sharpen the concepts and techniques from the previous day’s study while James circulates and works with students individually. You will be encouraged to paint multiple pieces, with a focus on smaller studies.

BILL FARNSWORTH-FIGURE IN THE LANDSCAPE
AUGIST 7-9-2023 – $550.00
Bill Farnsworth will teach a 3 day oil painting workshop dealing with a figure in a landscape.
Bill will paint a demo every morning to show students a step by step process.
Students will learn the importance of capturing the gesture of a figure and how it brings a narrative to a painting.
GEORGE VANHOOK – KEY ELEMENTS OF PLEIN AIR PAINTING
OCTOBER 11-13-2023 – $475
We will begin each day with a demo by the artist. At that time, he will discuss composition, laying out the pallet, proper use of materials and all other aspects of plein air painting. We will then break up into groups and paint individually. He will then provide individual instruction helping solve the issues for each artist. After lunch, he will do a quick demo to refresh the ideas presented at the start. Painters will start a second painting for the afternoon with additional individual instruction.
