Morgan, Samuel Price workshop

Hi Chestnuts,
Morgan Samuel Price is interested in doing a workshop for artists in our area in February of 2024. If you have not already seen it, you can see Morgan‘s work featured on pages 42 to 49 of the January 2024 Plein Air Magazine.

I’m asking you to let me know if you would be interested in attending a workshop February 17-19, 2024. You would be given the option of registering for either two days or three days. A two-day workshop would cost $425, and the three day workshop would cost $650. Space is limited to 12 people. The location will be determined once we know whether there are enough artists interested in this opportunity.

A typical workshop day looks something like this:
All plein air workshops are on location. Plan for an eight hour workday. Every morning there is a lecture/demonstration. The demonstration painting is completed on location each day. Everyone breaks for lunch. Artists select their location for their 3 to four hours of painting. Group critique is generally on location.
The tuition includes the workshop only. Artists must bring their own equipment and art supplies. A supply list will be provided following registration.

If the weather is too cold, the demonstrations will take place indoors. In the afternoon, artists can work from their studios or to the locations where they are staying.

Because this would take place less than two months away, please let me know of your interest by Friday, January 5.
