“Modern Impressionism in Miniature Still Life” Workshop by Ingrid Derrickson
Fellow Chestnut Group member Ingrid Derrickson will be teaching a painting workshop “Modern Impressionism in Miniature Still Life” in Spring Hill on June 11 from 9:30am-4pm with a demonstration and Q&A scheduled the evening before from 5:30-8pm in the Winchester Facility at Evan’s Park, 563 Maury Hill Street, lower level. Workshop fee is $150.
Ingrid Derrickson is a talented artist and painting instructor whom I’ve had the pleasure of knowing and painting with for the past decade. I adore her loose brushwork and captivating soft edges. Ingrid paints many small, floral-themed works which are especially appealing. She paints in both oils and acrylics on mostly 6 x 6 and 6 x 8 canvases.
This workshop will enhance your abilities to express color, encourage daily painting habits, and create expressive little gems abstracted in light and shadow.
