Live Painting Opportunity – Sat, Sept. 14th!
Dear Chestnuts,
The Preservation Society of Nashville has invited The Chestnut Group to participate in their fall fundraiser on Sat, September 14th!
The Preservation Society of Nashville is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that protects and champions unique stories, neighborhoods, and architecture through preservation, education, and advocacy. Visit their website here.
They have asked for 8 of our members to participate in this fundraising event.
Due to a quick turn around, we were able to quickly fill spots with board members but we have 2 spots remaining for “LIVE” artists. The live event artists will be able to bring a partially finished painting to complete onsite at the event. The location and reference photos will be provided to you.
If you want to participate in the LIVE event (Saturday, September 14, 6:00pm – 9:00 pm):
1) Submit any 2 painting examples (ideally with architectural details) to Ellen Bibb, epbibb@me.com and Lolly Brown, marketing@chestnutgroup.org
2) The Preservation Society of Nashville will select the final 2 artists to paint at the live event.
3) Deadline for submissions: FRIDAY, AUG, 9th
