Kevin Menck: Color Mixing with a Limited Palette Demonstration via Zoom

LIVE Color Mixing Demonstration: Wednesday, September 30th, 2-3:15 pm with Q/A. Zoom link will be emailed the day before the event.

This live painting demonstration will focus on using a very limited palette when painting. Kevin will explain how to determine value and temperature and how to see and mix for each as they relate to each other. Using a limited palette will strengthen your understanding of how to mix the colors that you see. Kevin’s down to earth nature and ability to simplify concepts of painting makes him a favorite of students of all levels.

The Chestnut Group celebrates Tennessee’s immense natural blessings through painting. People are transported to wild and beautiful places by the Chestnut Group’s talented artists.

The Chestnut Group has been a partner with us at Radnor Lake State Natural Area over the past 10+ years. I have and continue to be very grateful for their efforts on several fronts, including the donation of their time and talents to help us highlight the value of scenic places such as Radnor Lake, the plant life and wildlife that reside there and perhaps most importantly helping create a "sense of place" for millions of park visitors through their efforts.
