JUST ADDED! Final Full Moon Paint Out Scheduled at Radnor Lake!
Mark your calendars, Chestnuts! On Tuesday, October 27th, we’ll have one final opportunity to capture the full moon rising over Radnor Lake. That’s welcome news for those of us who got shut out by a slow moving blanket of clouds at the Super Moon paint out last month.
The moonrise will be at 6:27 p.m. (sunset at 5:57 p.m.).
Come join in the fun for a magical evening at Radnor Lake! We’ll be setting up along the Dam Walkway — from Otter Creek Road to the Spillway Bridge. Set up your gear before sunset, prepare your palette, maybe block in a composition, flip on your LED lights — then sit back and listen to the rising chorus of bugs, birds, and amphibians while you wait for the moon to sashay in.
There will not be a rain date.
A special thanks to Steve Ward, Park Manager at Radnor Lake, for making this final Full Moon Paint Out possible. Over the past 14 months, Steve and his staff have gone out of their way to support The Chestnut Group in preparation for our upcoming show. If you happen to run into Steve during these final few weeks, be sure to stop him and thank him for all of his help! He’s been a great friend of The Chestnut Group.
