Hermitage Paintout and Volunteers Needed October 1-2 for Fall Fest

We are excited to be partnering with The Hermitage for our April 20-22 show. Let’s kick it off with a paintout next weekend, October 1-2!
The Hermitage is hosting a Fall Fest those days, and, in conjunction with our show, they have asked us to participate. We will have a booth/table with information about our group and plein air painting, and we will be painting all over the grounds. This is a wonderful opportunity to paint the beautiful property in this early fall season, as well as to market our show and our group. There are so many gorgeous spots to paint – the gardens, mansion, log cabins, rolling hills, fences, gates, costumed tour guides, horses, and more; there will even be a quadruple-header vintage baseball game on the mansion lawn both days – what a unique painting opportunity that will be!
Fall Fest runs 10-5 on Saturday, October 1, and 10-4 on Sunday, October 2 . Janice Stevens will be hosting the Saturday paint out, and Brigitte Hubbard will be hosting on Sunday. We will be there by 10:00 both days. Please let Brigitte know if and when you can join us – she will put your name on a list at the entrance to Fall Fest, so there will be no charge. (There is a Chestnut Group list of names at the main ticket booth, which grants us free admission, but they would like an additional list for Fall Fest, since it’s a special event.)
Along with painters, we need help manning the table too. Please let us know if you could spare an hour or two to man the booth, or to come paint, or both! Its going to be a fun and special weekend.
