Here is a message from Gayle Levée, known as a great artist as well as an exceptional teacher:
Hi everyone!
A few years ago, I made a video series called Learn & Master Painting, and it’s been a great success all over the world. I still sell it at my workshops, because it covers all the fundamentals of painting.
Many of you have asked me to do a series on portrait painting, and now I’m able to bring that to you! This new spotlight will be called Learn & Master Painting: Portraits. You’ll learn how to work from life as well as from photographs, how to get the proportions right and how to mix skin tones. I’ll have special kits of brushes, paints and a palette available for you to buy online.
But, before Learn & Master and I can bring this to you, we need your help getting this project off the ground. We’re testing the market using a crowd-funding platform called Kickstarter before going into production. That means people like you help to make this project a reality by coming together to fund the costs by pre-ordering the set or backing the project before we produce it.
If the project doesn’t fully fund within our 60-day timeline, then it doesn’t happen. (Backers like you aren’t charged unless the project is fully funded.) Here’s what we’ve noticed: technology is rapidly evolving, and the marketplace is too. So, we’re excited about his new way to launch a product!
