First Membership Meeting of 2020
Hello Everyone,
Our first membership meeting for this year will be held Sat. Feb. 22 at 2:30pm. The meeting will be held at On Track Studios 1978 Wilson Pike, Franklin 37067. Many of you have seen this lovely venue but for the new members who have not, it will be nice opportunity to see this beautiful art haven and learn more about The Chestnuts.
We have several announcements for 2020 so you don’t want to miss this biannual meeting. One of our hot topics will be the details of our upcoming Land Trust Show which will be this fall. We will be disclosing all of the beautiful places we can paint as we prepare for the big day. This is going to be a wonderful show so clean your brushes and pack your gear, paint outs will start soon!
I almost forgot, as your new President please do not hesitate to contact me if you need anything. I may not have the answer but will get you with people who do. I am learning but will never be able to fill Renee’s shoes. She did a fabulous job and worked many hours on behind the scene details that most of us had no idea about. She deserves a big pat on the back!
We have lots of exciting news and I hope to see a great turn out Feb. 22!
