Cumberland River Compact Show details/call for images of artwork for promotion

This announcement will have a lot of details, please read carefully!
The Cumberland River Compact show, “Our Water, Our Future” will be shown in their Lucius E. Burch River Center at the Bridge Building from October 11-November 9. The CRC is hosting a “River Talk” for their patrons featuring The Chestnut Group on Thursday, October 11 at 12:00pm. The artwork will also be hanging during their Holiday event, scheduled for November 1. Depending on number of submissions the artwork can be rotated to include representation by each artist and the artwork will also be available for viewing online on a gallery hosted by the CRC, which can be promoted by them and The Chestnut Group for sales. Sales will be processed by the CRC and the sales splits will be the same as always 45%/45%/10%. Donation pieces are welcomed. Drop off of artwork and hanging will happen October 9th. The fact sheet/number of pieces allowed are still being finalized. Thank you for your patience!
The pieces can feature anything that is found in the Cumberland River Watershed, including water features (ideal!), landscapes, urban, wildlife etc. The

They can feature water, local urban scenes, etc. The CRC will choose the images that they will feature. The deadline for these is August 1st. ******Our next paintout will be next Friday, July 27 from 8:30am-2:00pm at Centennial Park. Come paint and then meet up at the food truck area to grab lunch together – or bring your own! Call or text Tiffany so she will know you’re planning to attend – 615-294-6091.
A paintout list is being compiled, but please don’t let that prevent you from painting! Their patrons love scenes of the Nashville skylines, bridges, urban, water, landscapes and wildlife. Can anyone spearhead an East Nashville paintout (or have good location tips) ??!! We’d love to offer scenes of this area to their younger patrons! Thanks! We will be scheduling weekday and weekend paintouts.
