A Few Spaces in Suzie Baker Workshop June 6-9, 2017

If you’re looking to add some skills to your plein air painting repertoire, look no further, and sign up ASAP for Suzie Baker’s workshop, coming this June 6-9, 2017! (Remember, one of the many perks to being a Chestnut Member is that we’re given a chance to sign up before our workshops are open to the public!)
Suzie is a very active and passionate artist. She attends multiple Plein Air events across the country, and her paintings are fresh, colorful, and spot on. Her awards during these events are impressive as well! Marjorie Hicks, a fellow Chestnut member, was quoted recently as saying, “Suzie is a rock star artist, in my opinion, but I wouldn’t stop singing her praises with that alone. She was very helpful to me even before arriving in Telluride, Colorado (Telluride Plein Air) last summer. She contacted me ahead of time, and made sure that I knew to arrive early to acclimate to the altitude, AND that an early painting or two would be accepted into the event even before checking in. Those two “leg ups” were invaluable to me as a newbie to the juried event scene!”
Marjorie also stated that she feels sure Suzie will be just as giving as an instructor. Don’t miss this chance to learn from one of the best Plein Air painters around, in our own backyard!
