2024 Spring Show and New Partner: Greenways for Nashville
We are THRILLED to announce our 2024 Spring Show and new partner for The Chestnut Group: Greenways for Nashville.
According to their website, “Greenways for Nashville is a non-profit organization raising awareness of and private support for Nashville’s greenways initiative. Working in partnership with the Metro Parks Department and the Open Space Commission, Greenways connects Nashville the green way.”
The Chestnut Group 2023 Vice President and 2024 President, Ellen Bibb shared, “The mission and values of Greenways for Nashville (GFN) align with The Chestnut Group’s passion for conservation and preservation. Not only is GFN a perfect partner for a Chestnut Art Show & Sale, but the Richland Creek area of the greenway is where I live! I will be working on the show Fact Sheet that will detail the greenway areas of focus for painting, including where the great train wreck occurred, the long stretch of greenway alongside Richland Creek, and all around McCabe golf course with its many views of landscapes and trees. There is a community center, playground, baseball fields, driving range, and several beautiful bridges. Deer and other wild animals can be found in these areas along with people exercising and enjoying the seasons.”
The show location will be the McCabe Golf Course Clubhouse. The dates for the show are April 24-28, 2024. The Patron Party will be Wednesday, April 24th and the show will be open to the public April 25-28th.
