Mary Margaret Peel Featured at University Club of Nashville
Paintings by Chestnut member, Mary Margaret Peel, are on display in the Art Gallery of the University Club of Nashville until the end of October. After graduating from Vanderbilt, Mary Margaret (Alsobrook) Peel trained as a professional medical illustrator and has worked for over 30 years at the VA Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Her medical illustrations have been published in books and numerous medical journals. She has studied painting with notable local artists including Gus Baker, Anton Weiss, Joseph Sulkowski, Elizabeth Brandon, Connie Erickson, Jerry Barnes, Juanita Greene Parks and Roger Dale Brown.
