Bio
Sherrie Russ Levine is noted for her paintings that capture the play of light and color as it appears in nature. Her evocative landscapes are more about the essence of a place rather than its exact location. Since 1995 she has shown in galleries and juried shows throughout the United States and was honored to be Featured Artist of the 2017 Huntsville Museum of Art's Annual Gala. Sherrie has been a member of The Chestnut Group since 2001, served on the Board, and is the Past President of 2014.
