Bio
Quentin Eichbaum was born and raised in Namibia and South Africa where the vast landscapes instilled in him a lasting passion for painting landscapes and abstracts. His medium is watercolor which he applies translucently to capture landscapes in a loose and impressionist style. He has also developed a unique approach to applying watercolor to expressionist and representational abstract painting.
Among his qualifications, he has a Master of Fine Art (MFA) degree from Vermont College, and has studied directly with many of the best watercolorists in the world including Frank Webb, Sterling Edwards, Don Andrews, Tony Couch, Bill Bissell, Dan Marshall, Vlad Yeliseyev, Wes Waugh, Tom Lynch, Thomas Schaller, and others.
