Bio
I started drawing from the comics in the Sunday morning papers back in the 70s and had my favorites that I looked forward to drawing each new edition. After 25 years as a competitive figure skater and 20 years of professional coaching in ice dance and freestyle figure skating, I began expressing my artistic talent through woodworking, eventually leading me to begin my company Turtlewood Palettes. With the support of my artist friends, I was provided the opportunity to attend several Portrait Society of America conferences with Turtlewood Palettes and as an attendee. The kind encouragement and friendship from the artist community has helped me fall back in love with art all over again.
