Bio
I paint what moves me – what I respond to personally. I am drawn mostly to the natural world around me. I was schooled in the fine arts and received a BFA degree. I mostly use the mediums of oils and pastels currently and especially like the plein air experience. I love to capture the atmosphere I come away with from those outings. I also use my own photo references as inspiration to work from in the studio as well. My process is rather organic but I strive to always have a strong composition and good color harmony in the work I produce. I do like to experiment and go outside my comfort zone pushing my own creative limits. My goal at this point in time is to enjoy the journey of creativity and hopefully, spread some joy to others.
