Profile: Kim Barrick

Bio
Barrick is an award winning artist, teacher, writer and mentor. Her artworks, described as “alive with light and filled with movement”, are held in private and corporate collections across The Americas, Europe and Asia. In 2001, Barrick founded The Chestnut Group a 401(c)4 organization of artists supporting land conservation. In addition, Barrick has served for a decade on the board of Friends of Radnor Lake and was instrumental in 2009 establishing Wild About Colorado plein air festival benefiting the Continental Divide Land Trust. In addition, she has joined Arts and Business Council of Greater Nashville board of directors. A native of Colorado and a 34 year resident of Nashville Barrick proudly claims dual citizenship.
