Bio
I had little exposure to art growing up. That all changed at the age of 24 when I moved to Italy where I was surrounded by art. After a demanding 40 yr career as a Physician in Nashville and nearing retirement, I was searching for something to do. An artist friend suggested that I take an art workshop. The thought of becoming an artist never entered my mind. I took her advice. The workshop was enjoyable and informative. I learned that it was not easy, that my drawing needed improvement, and that the paint belongs on the canvas, not on my clothes. I now realize that art is a journey, not a destination. I am very appreciative of the many artists who have endeavored to impart their knowledge to me. I hope that I can do their efforts justice.
