Bio
Kevin Menck was born and raised in Middle Tennessee. After graduating from art school, he worked briefly as a designer and then as a self-employed illustrator for 16 years. In 2002 Kevin met artist Jason Saunders who taught him the fundamentals of landscape painting especially the importance of painting from life. As an avid outdoorsman Kevin spends hours afield painting plein air. "Nature is the best teacher I have had."
Kevin is a member of Oil Painters of America, The Cumberland Society, Plein Air Painters of the Southeast and The Chestnut Group.
