Bio
I grew up in Denver and enjoyed summers on my grandparent’s farm in Paonia. I attended the University of Colorado in Boulder and completed my education at the Colorado Institute of Art. After school, my family and I moved to Nashville, Tennessee where I spent most of the next 38 years as a self-employed graphic designer. I work mostly in oils on canvas, but also dabble in acrylics and mixed media painting when the spirit moves. I love the rolling hills, natural settings and historic character of Middle Tennessee and want to capture the iconic scenes and historic places of this area. But I still miss the Rocky Mountains of Colorado and the Southwest, and enjoy painting memories of my childhood and of our travels to the National Parks.
