Bio
Brenda Morley grew up on a beautiful dairy farm in upstate New York. She was always drawn to the arts and inspired by her grandfather, who was a landscape and portrait painter in the Buffalo area, and by various relatives who were musicians. Her father, though a farmer, loved to sing. Brenda attended SUNY at Fredonia as a music major and currently plays in church orchestra and the Brass Band of Nashville. It was the Chestnut Group, however, that inspired Brenda to paint en plein air. Having other dedicated artists to share and paint with really helps spur one on to accomplish more and advance in painting skills. The added benefit is knowing that participating is helping organizations that help preserve the beautiful landscape that we love.
