Sketch to Studio with Dawn Whitelaw

Students will paint “grocery bag sketches” on Kraft paper and bring these sketches into the studio to create a larger paintings using the small sketch as reference. Employing the practice of creating small sketches to inform your larger studio pieces is a sure path to artistic growth.
