Description: There will be a discussion and handouts that will help the artist interpret value more clearly. Value and composition exercises and studies to be painted by each participant, from provided photo reference and or simple still life. Please bring your lunch and stay and eat if you like!

Description:

Are you a new member and need to understand how The Chestnut Group shows work?  Would like to participate in local shows and would like to know more about the application and preparation process for a show?  Come to hear details about how to prepare for a show.  There will be a time for Q and A discussion as well!

Brenda-8:30am-12:30pm
Tiffany – 12:30pm-4:30pm

Type of Workshops: Two Half days in the studio

Member: half day – $45 Full day – $75 Non-Member:  $65 half day, or $90 full day

• Please bring your own color palette that you paint with, plus black and white.
•  Odorless mineral spirits
•  Paper towels
•  A variety of brush sizes
•  One 14×18 or 16×20 canvas panel.
