Winter Awe Walk with Naturalist at Shelby Bottoms

Join us to experience Shelby from a new perspective!
“During this Awe Walk we direct our focus on, connect to, and appreciate things we may not have noticed in the past. While being present in the moment, we will take notice of our surroundings,” from Metro Nashville’s post.  It’s a chance to get out and create some nature memories, meet other like-minded people, and capture some photo references for next fall’s show at the nature center with Friends of Shelby Park & Bottoms. (The Colors of Shelby show info will be posted as available on the Chestnut website here, and in announcements. (you must be logged in to access members resources)
The late afternoon schedule will allow for some “magic” moments.  We have our fingers crossed for good weather and one of those warmer February days.  Judson Newbern will be on hand and invites you to gather a local fave,  Rosepepper Cantina after the walk.
*You may share the special camaraderie of the Chestnut group by inviting potential members to join you for this event.*
