The Green Door is a large organic farm situated on the Cumberland River, with a fantastic farmers market “Farm Store”!!! It is the venue for the Cumberland River Compact event (Farm to Fork) in late October. We are allowed two paintings for this show, which can be from this farm or the many other sites related to the Cumberland River and tributaries.
There is so much to paint here. You can paint in the garden behind the store. Or, you can drive down to the river (if the gate is open) and paint anywhere between. We are also allowed to paint IN the store. However, only one or two maximum at a time, and, suggest you use drop cloth on any flooring (inside or out). Also, if inside, please keep your gear to a minimum and out of the way of the staff and customers.
