Better Designs = Stronger Paintings
Description: New ways to approach the design of a painting to make the painting process easier and the resulting painting more powerful. Power point, demo, lots of hands-on practice and one on one help. We will take our sketchbooks outdoors if weather permits. The class will give students the chance to try out different approaches to design and to see how different materials can be used to design a painting.
Time: 9:30 am -3:00 pm. You are welcome to bring your paint gear and stay after class and paint plein air here at On Track Studio.

Sketch book, your preferred sketching and drawing tools.
Two examples of photo reference that you would like to create a design for. They can be prints or digital images on your ipad/phone.
