Community Opportunity for Members
Linda Hart, the Director of LifeStyles at the Somerby in Franklin, has extended the following invitation to our group members: “We are a senior living community for independent, assisted living and memory care residents. I am seeking one or more of the Chestnut Group members who would like to do an “artist in residence” program or something similar to that for our independent living residents. We have some very talented artists at the community, and we would love to explore opportunities. I was given the name of your organization by Pam Padgett, who is a member of your organization.”

FYI: We have an area on the Member Resource page, below our current show info, where painting opportunities in the community will be listed. These come to us usually through individuals or groups who contact us through the website. Participation is typically outside of our group projects but you will still be representing The Chestnut Group by being there.
