Channel 5 Wants to Promote the April Show! – We need your help

BIG NEWS: Channel 5 wants to cover the story of the synergy that developed around Lockeland Springs Park. Planting new trees, painting the trees, and neighbors organizing around TPL to raise money to buy adjacent land to expand the tiny existing, tornado-struck park all appeal to news reporter Claire Kopsky.
Channel 5 wants to film a good turnout of Chestnut members painting in the park. Next Thursday, March 24th, is the date. If we get rained out, then the next week can be our backup.
They will also capture footage of the Mayor speaking at the patron’s event on April 6th and images of the art show with folks viewing art. The plan is to air the piece on Thursday, April 7th, informing people that the show’s happening at Shelby through Sunday.
We need Chestnuts set up and painting all around the park by 9 a.m. Plan to arrive at 8:30 a.m. Consider bringing a piece already started of Lockeland to have paint to show on the easels .. or crank up earlier that morning. We’ll need a lot of Lockeland work after this publicity!
