Marilyn’s zest for life and exuberance are evident in her Alla Prima works in oil. Her command of light and color harmony takes place using a very limited palette. She has studied with Scott Christiansen, Ken Backhaus and Ken Auster, to name a few. Marilyn’s passion is translated into her sought after works which she exhibits in local and regional shows, juried competitions and in fine art galleries in the Southeast and New England.
In 2009 Marilyn had the distinguished honor of having one of her paintings placed into the Permanent Collection of the Tennessee Governor’s Residence.
