Marilyn Farnsworth Wendling

Marilyn’s zest for life and exuberance are evident in her Alla Prima works in oil.  Her command of light and color harmony takes place using a very limited palette.  She has studied with Scott Christiansen, Ken Backhaus and Ken Auster, to name a few.  Marilyn’s passion is translated into her sought after works which she exhibits in local and regional shows, and in fine art galleries in the Southeast.

In 2009 Marilyn had the distinguished honor of having one of her paintings placed into the Permanent Collection of the Tennessee Governor’s Residence.

Marilyn was honored to be selected as the Featured Artist for the Belmont Community Celebration of Art at Christ the King School in October 2012.

Marilyn was chosen as Featured Artist, in May 2013, at the Wesleyan School in Atlanta.

2015 has her selected as Featured Artist at St. George’s Independent School in Collierville, TN
