Painting for Carnton Event!
The Battle of Franklin Trust asked the Chestnut Group artists to partner with them for a summer sale slated for July 15-17, 2011. Several properties are included on our list of locales as we paint our way to the “Captured: History on Canvas” event! The properties all have great historical significance to the Battle of Franklin and include: Carnton Plantation, McGavock Confederate Cemetery, The Lotz House, The Carter House, Homestead Manor, The Harrison House, and The Confederate Monument in Downtown Franklin.
